The Schad Clinic Fertility Health practice clinic offers a naturopathic approach to fertility issues, such as pre-conception health, addressing fertility challenges and the effects of emotional stress on fertility and pregnancy. Supervising naturopathic doctors, Dr. Cristina Meffe, ND and Dr. Zeynep Uraz, ND, and a select group of clinical interns use naturopathic fertility treatments aimed at:

- Providing acupuncture, diet and supplement recommendations and other natural treatments to support fertility outcomes
- Reducing stress, and supporting mental and emotional health
- Improving artificial reproductive technology outcomes, such as IUI, IVF, egg and sperm donation and surrogacy
- Offering individualized and personalized care to support your journey

Cristina graduated from CCNM in 2007, and received the prestigious Joyce Vanderburgh Scholarship for outstanding clinical performance and patient interaction. She has a private practice in Woodbridge, and has a clinical focus on fertility, women’s health, and hormonal concerns. Cristina has been supervising at the RSNC since 2013, and has two Fertility Focus Shifts, on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Cristina is passionate about empowering her patients achieve their optimal health through education, and fostering a therapeutic relationship built on mutual trust and respect. Cristina is also fluent in Italian and Spanish.

As a professor, I am passionate about education. I believe in empowering my students and patients with accurate information.

When I’m not teaching at the college, I run the integrative wellness team at Hannam Fertility Centre, where I have my private practice.

I have been invited to speak to my colleagues on topics related to infertility at the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Institute of Women’s Health and Integrative Medicine.

I previously held volunteer role as an advisory council member for Fertility Matters Canada. I was the chair of Canadian Infertility Awareness Week from 2017 -2019.
